How Worktop and Materials Suppliers Can Prepare a Useful Product Catalogue
Help kitchen and wardrobe customers compare real products by organising material, finish, dimensions, service area and quote information clearly.
Start with products you can genuinely supply
Choose the cabinet, worktop, furniture or material ranges that are current and available for the regions you serve. Separate standard products from made-to-order options.
Do not upload discontinued lines, borrowed photography or specifications you cannot support. A smaller accurate catalogue is more useful than a large uncertain one.
Give each product a clear identity
Use a consistent product name, category, material, finish, colour reference and supplier code. State whether images show the exact product, a representative installation or a digital visual.
Avoid unsupported claims such as maintenance-free, sustainable or guaranteed unless the evidence and applicable terms support them.
Record dimensions and ordering limits
Provide the dimensions, thicknesses, formats or size options relevant to the product, plus the units used. For custom work, explain which information is needed before a quotation can be prepared.
Technical suitability, templating, fabrication and installation must be confirmed for the real project. A product listing cannot replace a verified survey or specification.
Show finishes with honest visual context
Use clear, well-lit images and useful close views of texture, edges and pattern variation. Explain when screens and photography may not reproduce colour exactly.
Tell customers how samples can be requested where that service exists, and identify natural or batch variation where relevant.
Explain service area and fulfilment
State where you supply, deliver, template, fabricate or install, and distinguish services provided by your business from those requiring another trade.
Keep lead-time, delivery and price statements current. Do not present an estimate as a guarantee when the final product and project have not been reviewed.
Join and maintain the catalogue
Measure Design lets suppliers create profiles, showcase products and catalogues, and receive relevant quote enquiries. Onboarding is currently free while the marketplace grows, subject to the latest published terms; enquiries, orders and revenue are not guaranteed.
Use the supplier onboarding page to register, then review listings when ranges, coverage or contact details change. Customers and professionals remain responsible for verifying the final product, quotation and installation arrangement.
